Attorney Lindsey R. Johnson manages all aspects of civil litigation on behalf of employers and municipalities, culminating in representation of clients in matters involving the following areas of law: municipal law, employment law, banking, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, real property and negligence. Ms. Johnson routinely drafts dispositive motions invoking governmental immunity and defending against lawsuits brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, among other claims. She also responds to agency charges of discrimination and Freedom of Information Act requests.

Ms. Johnson is a member of the Oakland County Bar municipal law section and is an Oakland County case evaluator. She has also presented at past Michigan Banking Association’s Risk Management & Compliance Institutes and firm tax symposiums. Ms. Johnson is also published: Legislators and Grandparents, May I Have Your Attention: There is No Time for Grandparenting Time! A Casenote Focusing on the Michigan Court of Appeals Decision in DeRose v. DeRose, 19 Thomas M. Cooley L. Rev. 387 (April 1, 2003).
