Attorney Lindsey R. Johnson manages all aspects of civil litigation on behalf of businesses, employers and municipalities, culminating in representation of clients in matters involving the following areas of law: municipal law, insurance law, employment law, banking, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, real property and negligence. Ms. Johnson routinely drafts dispositive motions invoking governmental immunity and defending against lawsuits brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, among other claims. She also responds to agency charges of discrimination and Freedom of Information Act requests.

Ms. Johnson focuses her practice on municipal law, business and employment matters. The aspect of her chosen profession that Ms. Johnson enjoys the most is acting as an advisor and advocate to our clients. She strategizes for the best solution to a problem, which is not always in litigation. Ms. Johnson is a member of the Oakland County Bar municipal law section and is an Oakland County case evaluator. She has also presented at past Michigan Banking Association’s Risk Management & Compliance Institutes and firm tax symposiums. Ms. Johnson is a 2001 graduate of Michigan State University, James Madison College and a 2003 cum laude graduate and recipient of the Eugene Krasicky Award of WMU – Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she served as a Scholarly Writing Teachers Assistant and as a Subsite Editor of Law Review.
