Harry focuses his practice on business formation, franchise law, commercial litigation, real estate transactions, and government regulation matters.
His legal skills and talents are informed by his law firm and in-house counsel experience as well as business perspectives he acquired from operating his own company for 12 years. Before joining Allen Brothers, PLLC, he was general counsel for a large real estate holding company, where he directed the company’s legal affairs, and has represented Michigan Commerce Bank (now owned by Talmer West) in the enforcement of defaulted loan and mortgage agreements. He also served as a union representative for AFSCME Local 3069, where he was a member of its negotiating committee.
Harry is also involved in community and civic activities. He presently serves as 1st Vice Chair of the 14th Congressional District Democratic Organization and is a past president of the Grosse Pointe Democratic Club. He participated on the Board of Directors of Lutheran Outdoor Retreat Ministries for seven years, serving as President for the last two of those years. He is currently the Vice Chair of CARE of Southeast Michigan, an organization devoted to supporting those encountering workplace challenges, mental health issues, and substance abuse.
He earned both a Juris Doctor and a Masters in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University.
